Crispy potato sticks

Crispy Parmesan Hash Browns What you’ll need:
🥔 Potato
🥚 Egg
🧂 Salt & Spices
🧄 Garlic powder
🧅 Onion powder
🌶️ Chili flakes
🧀 Parmesan
🌽 Cornstarch
🛢️ Cooking oil

Ingredients used ;
🔸All purpose flour 2cups
🔸Coconut 1 cup ( freshly grated or desiccated)
🔸Salt - as per your taste
🔸Butter (optional)
🔸Luke warm water
🔸Finely chopped Green chili, onion, curry leaves ( these are optional )

Crispy Sri Lankan Beef Rolls
Soft pancakes filled with well-seasoned boiled beef and potatoes, crumbed and fried till perfectly golden 🤍
A classic Sri Lankan snack — ideal for teatime and Ramadan prep 🌙

These rolls freeze beautifully after crumbing. Freeze in a single layer, then store in airtight containers. Fry straight from frozen — perfect for busy iftar evenings 🌙🤍
Sri Lankan Beef Rolls
📝 Ingredients
Boiled Beef
• 375 g beef
• Water
• ½ tsp salt
• ¼ tsp turmeric
• ¼ tsp black pepper
Filling
• 250 g potatoes, boiled & mashed
• 2½ onions, finely chopped
• ¾ cup leeks, chopped
• 2–3 green chillies, chopped
• ½ tbsp ginger-garlic paste
• Curry leaves (optional)
• Pandan leaves (optional)
• ¼ tsp turmeric
• ½ tsp chilli powder
• ¾ tsp black pepper
• ½ tbsp chilli flakes
• Salt to taste
• 2 tbsp oil
Pancake (Wrapper)
• 2½ cups all-purpose flour
• 2 eggs
• 2½ cups water
• ½ tsp salt
Coating & Frying
• 2–3 tbsp flour + water (slurry)
• Breadcrumbs
• Oil for frying
👩‍🍳 Simple Method
1️⃣ Boil beef
Boil beef with salt, turmeric, pepper, until soft.
Cool and shred.
2️⃣ Make filling
Heat oil. Add curry leaves, pandan leaves, and green chillies.
Add onions and cook until soft.
Add ginger-garlic, beef, spices, leeks, and salt.
Mix in potatoes and cook till dry. Finish with chilli flakes. Cool.
3️⃣ Make pancakes
Mix all batter ingredients.
Cook thin pancakes on low heat. Do not brown.
4️⃣ Assemble
Add filling to pancake. Roll tightly. Seal with slurry or water.
5️⃣ Coat & fry
Dip in slurry, then breadcrumbs.
Deep fry till golden.

Yummy
Cut 3 chicken breast into small pieces,
Season with;
2tsp piri piri seasoning
2tsp cajun seasoning
Half tsp turmeric (just for colour)
Mix it well
Cut 3 large potatoes into very small cubes
Use same seasoning as for chicken
Add bit of oil,fry chicken for around 10 minutes on low heat
Add bit of oil to another pan and fry potatoes for around 10 minutes on low heat,,when they will be soft Inside Fry another 2-3 minutes on high heat so they will be golden brown and crispy,or you can airfry if you prefer,
When your chicken will be ready add 130ml of single cream, or any you prefer,,Stir it well and cook 2 minutes,
Add your crispy potatoes ,stir it well,
Sprinkle with cheddar cheese, Let it melt and enjoy
