Our client is a premium wellness brand operating within a five-star hotel, offering elevated spa and holistic wellness experiences. They are seeking a guest-focused Receptionist / Cashier to support front office and payment operations in a luxury wellness setting.
As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in delivering a calm, welcoming, and seamless guest experience while ensuring accurate financial transactions and smooth coordination between spa operations and service teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the first point of contact, delivering a warm, professional, and luxury-focused guest experience while managing spa bookings, walk-ins, and guest records with discretion.
• Handle all payment and cashiering duties including POS transactions, invoicing, daily cash reconciliation, and end-of-day closing with a high level of accuracy.
• Coordinate therapist schedules, support daily spa operations, and liaise with hotel concierge and guest relations teams for seamless service and VIP coordination.
• Support retail sales, basic inventory tracking, and operational reporting while maintaining reception areas, grooming standards, and service quality in line with brand guidelines and company policies
Qualifications
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in hospitality front office, spa reception, or cashiering roles (luxury environment preferred).
• Proficiency in POS systems, booking systems, or CRM platforms.
• Strong numerical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English (Sinhala and/or Tamil is an advantage).
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Working Schedule & Benefits
• Workweek: 6 days per week with 1 day off
• Shift Duration: 9 hours (1 shift per day)
• Operating Hours: Between 9:00 AM and 10:00 PM
• Meals: Provided during working hours
