CAGS – Ceylon Gemological Science Institute, Sri Lanka’s leading institute for Gemology and Earth Sciences, is seeking a dynamic and creative professional to manage our brand’s online presence and elevate our digital identity across platforms.
Position: Social Media Executive / Brand Coordinator
? Location: Malabe, Colombo
? Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow CAGS’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
Create, plan, and upload engaging content (posts, reels, videos, stories, and articles)
Develop and execute creative campaigns to enhance brand awareness
Monitor trends, analytics, and audience engagement to optimize performance
Collaborate with academic and media teams to promote courses, events, and achievements
Maintain brand consistency and professionalism across all platforms

Candidate Profile:
Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Marketing, Media, Communication, or related field
Strong creative thinking and content creation skills (graphic design or video editing is a plus)
Excellent command of English (Sinhala/Tamil an advantage)
Experience managing social media for a brand, institute, or company
Passionate about education, gemstones, and storytelling through digital media
